Biography
Evie Cervine is a contemporary painter based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her work is inspired by natural forms, taking moments of light and shadow, and collaging these to create abstracted forms with figurative elements. Cervine’s work is influenced by literature, myths, legends, and untold stories; interrogating the link between narrative and experience. Her work revolves around the human condition as well as our connection to the natural world around us, a balance between chaos and contrast, and tender equilibrium. Cervine is currently studying at the Edinburgh College of Art.
